Restaurant Ho Boh is a Hakka dishes restaurant.
Some of you might know some of you might not.
Still remember i saw the article bout this restaurant is 2 years ago.
I know Hakka dishes quite well cause my mom is Hakka.
They have shop at KL and Taipan as well.
The one i have a try is located at Taipan. =)

If you are chinese, for sure you will know after give birth there is a dish use 'chinese wine' cook with ginger and chicken.
The smell if really very nice and tasty!
Besides that, Hakka famous with a kind of Yam kuih.
Is salty dish, cook with black fungus, dry prawn, garlic, fried onion and etc...

The decoration of Restaurant Ho Boh is very simple and old style.
If you live in wooden house village before, then you will definately know what i try to say.
The wooden cupboard with net door to keep bowl, plates, spoons, chopsticks and etc.
All the wooden furniture and the simple and village feel.
It brings you another kind of feel and you can experience what is a village life.

Simple but happy. Not rich but yet to survive. =)
Village life always the best because all the villages are very easy to satisfy of their life.
At least they are happy and have a warm family compare to who stay in city always need to work for money and live in a lonely big house.

As mentioned, i ordered 3 simple dishes.
Taufu with pork, 'chinese wine' chicken & fried meatball - the one reminds me of all my childhood memories with family.
My mom always like to made fried meatball when me & my brother still in primary school.
We don't have our own house, we rent a small 'rumah panjang' with RM50.
Our life is just enough for spend, simple but we happy. =)
Mom work as promoter, father is a sawmill who always will take care the house and take some woods from factory and make us writting desks, cupboard, chair and etc...
Our transport only motorbike, bicycle and of cause transport number eleven. (Jalan Kaki, the 2 legs look like eleven, the number)

Long time i never had this dish already.
Father has gone to heaven and mom most propably forgot she like to make this dish last time.
Especially Chinese New Year Eve.
I was so naughty last time, refuse to eat due to always get to eat.
Now.. at the moment i saw it on menu,
only i notice long long long time ago... i had this dish before..
When i have my first bite,
the feeling is really unexplainable and tears is nearly drop. =)
How much i miss it =)
Not only the taste but the memories.

Alot of us has forgot what we have last time,
but it might be beautiful and meaningful.
Sometimes we are just busy of our life and forget about the simple thing.
Sometimes we thought something is not important,
but maybe 10 years later, you want to see/touch/feel it again,
is really impossible.
Catch what you have, appreciate what you get.
You need to work hard for your future,
but never ever forget about the simple & happy 'you' in past. =)

Dinner at Seremban with Mama

Haiz... 2009 is gone and time to plan for 2010 dy.

But... finally i on leave for 3 days and now in my hometown !!!

Long time never have a long long holiday and sit down chatting with my family.

My mama, brother and sister-in-law. (uncle oustation)

Mmm... reach Seremban about 2:40pm,

guess what the first time i do ?
I went Terminal 1 shopping mall shopping !!!

But i shop for fabric which for my own design use. =)

Was starving the whole afternoon due to be piggy too long in the morning,

need to rush for bus.

But still...Very happy and really a satisfied afternoon.

Have come out few design and discuss with mama,

everything is set & wait for time....

After the whole busy afternoon,

the piggy noon for my sister-in-law

& PS3 noon for my brother,

is time for dinner!! Hungry !!! Hungry !!!

Is Jusco dinner and shopping time again !!

erm... Seremban famous and the only comfortable shoppingmall.

My brother and sister-in-law was 'gila' about McD prosperity burger!

Of course me and my mom will go for others!

After walk here and there, here and there...

Finally ... we go in to The Manhattan Fish Market!

(Actually both of us first time dine there. pai seh .. pai seh..)

We were so so so hungry , but they leave us after put down the sauces.. =.='

Today is just a really tired and sleepy day, but .. surprisingly i still awake at this time.
Not sure is happy or sad.
Happy?? Course proof that i still 'young'. Which all the ladies so sensitive about.
Sad?? Got time to sleep but don't sleep. Wrinkles and eye bags will stick to me for a long long long time.. haiz...

Alot of my customer has been asking me when got new stock. Really so so so sorry.
Was thinking of my own design too which i going to try and sew on this long holiday.
At the same time, have checked my full time job email and reply some urgent email.
Done everything and now checking around me and writting my blog..
Guess what i see ....

My 2 furries... Fei po (the bigger one) & Notty po (smaller one) sleeping like a really dead pig on my blanket !!!
Fei po always more 'human' style and not so lady. Dorothy(notty po) always have the cat personality, stay glamour, look lady and never have those ugly picture. She know how important her outlook and image tho. hehehe....

Sometimes i was really happy when see both of them. Even i stress of my work, my life or there are things in my mind .. both of them just like to make drama and chasing around... their fool and stupid actions sometimes really make me laugh like hell. I love them so much. Cant imagine one day if they leave me what will i feel. I was so scare of 'that day' coming... Is happy and sad later if you got a lovely pet. They always leave us one day and we will be very very upset that time.

Hmm... is 7am now... should go for dim sum or sleep?
Long time don't have this kind of life..
I believe most of you will do the same thing as me during CNY right? =)
I will still do for this coming CNY !! kekeke....
Only once a year.. have to enjoy bit...
CNY is just around the corner... about a month leave for preparation only.
Hopes that i got bonus and increment this year. *Pray super super hard

My X'mas cake - Green tea red bean cake with fresh fruits topping

Mom happily take picture with her favourite Green tea cake!

Recently discover a new cake shop in Hartamas shopping mall. Is just a small little corner lot , simple design, some comfy sofa and tea tables for you to enjoy the dessert. Their price consider Mid - High. Normal fresh fruits cream cake = RM 65/kg. Is worth the price. As you know, normally the fruits from fruit cake is not tat nice and sour, especially strawberries. But San Ferri they do pick better quality fruits and you can tell the different between their strawberries and other cake shops. Most of the cake in square shape and 3 layers included the top part. There are full of fresh fruits in between the layers

There are also slices and 1/2 kg available. Different cake have different price. They have carrot cakes which they play with the cream and created a cute little carrot. American cheese cake, very rich and nice to eat with a cup of coffee. Green tea fresh fruits cake, my mom love it. Their cake is really smoother and very fine compare to others. They use red beans to replace fresh fruits in between the layers and this is the correct way for Green tea cake. If you visit them in morning, you can try out their breakfast set as well. They actually do serve American breakfast style and sandwiches.

As usual, we always think of work harder and get higher title and income so that our life will be easier in future. I believe out there a lot of 'you' are same like my situation. Maybe some is in better situation.

When i was 20 year-old, i came to KL alone for work . Lucky all the peoples i met was nice and that's the reason why i still alive today. =P My family is not that really poor and need me to earn money for basic spending but i just ended up come to KL and work. Anyhow, i started my crazy working life once i step on KL.

Of course now i found the job that i enjoy with and this is my really a clear direction. Try to work hard in this line since i join. But unfortunately, just like a chinese sentence 天下无不散的筵席. Means no matter what, there doesn't have together forever. The 1st team i work with in Vibes, all have leave the company and have their own life. Is a really hard time for me to go through alone with all the changes in sudden. Work during the weekend, OT till late night.... all this is part of my life previously and i enjoy it. LOL.

Well, now we have a new PR team, but unfortunately there is one of the member leave us earlier and now... Smitha's turn. Is glad that they found what they really want. Hopes they will be happy with the new company and job.All the pictures keep all my memories with you guys. The 1st annual dinner we have, the 1st x'mas deco, the 1st xmas japanese buffet, our intern come n goes, our new member to join, our old member to leave. Especially our 1st company trip to Bangkok !! Is really fun and happy! Really hopes that we can still have trip together but everytime seems like there is something caused us to cancel the plan. Not sure how many times we still can have picture together. Miss the day we posing at photo wall. The Vibratorssssssssss!! LOL..

Recently was so busy of my full time day job.
Is a busy month and weeks.
Even though is long holiday but still need to go back office and do work!

But sometimes it's tired but i enjoy to do my work.
At least better than i got nothing to do and just sit at home watch drama.
No time to go out shopping, that's why i can save my money.. heheheh..


Maybe some of you don't really know me yet.
I got a full time day job as Senior PR Coordinator and perhaps as my boss promised will promote me as PR Exec soon.
I also have an side business, which is online shop.
I love to shop and look at all nice clothes, shoes, accessories and etc.
But was very sorry to my side business partner, Jolene Lee.
She force to follow up all those shipping from my overseas supplier.
Have to manage and arrange meet up with customer.
Hope that she won't go crazy.

Recently i got no time to search for nice design clothes to upload yet.
Will try my best to upload some by tonight or Monday.
I still have some after event stuff to follow up,

Just wanted to shares my opinion bout Starker beer, which only exclusive at Overtime.

What is Overtime and where is Overtime??
Overtime is a new entertainment outlet that located at Jln Sultan Ismail, KL Life Centre.
Not so sure?
Is behind Thai Club / same building with 'Ruums' / opposite Wisma KFC
Overtime is not only an entertainment outlet,
Of course there are some story why it named "Overtime"

Overtime 'appear' is to tell everyone that when you stay late is not bout work anymore,
now can be stay late and enjoy your night.
You can have your 'Overtime' section at Overtime with you friends.
Which will really refine your tiring working days.

Overtime is a non-halal entertainment outlet, Sorry for all the malay friends.
What is must try dishes there?
Fire pork !!
If you are chinese, you should know what is 'char siew' and how it taste like.
Ah eh.. Fire pork is not taste like char siew, but fire pork is use char siew type of meat
and deep fried it and cut in small pieces , when it serve on a plate , it look like char siew with crunchy skin.
Is a very good dish to eat with beer.
Of course there are many other dishes you can pick.
Buffalo wings, samurai beef noodles, Singapore stir fried and
PORK KNUCKLE !!!

Oh Oh... too much foods.... Let's back to Starker beer.
Starker beer is an German style beer and it formula created by Master brewed , Tim O'rouke
Starker beer is fresh beer , which really different with others.
I believes alot of you drank HoeGaarden before right?
Starker is similar to HoeGaarden but Starker is slightly smoother or 'sweeter'
Starker beer is cloudy beer. What is cloudy beer? Look at the colour then you will know what i meant.

What is fresh beer?
At overseas some small village they have their own minor brewery and they brew beer themselves.
But of course that is illegal in Malaysia.
Starker is using the same concept, brewed daily and send to outlet daily, but no worry, they do it legal way. =P
Fresh beer have to be finish within 3 days and it cant keep after that.
Is really risky for a entertainment outlet to serve Fresh beer but Overtime doing it !

Anyway, Overtime did promotion on Starker beer during 10th-16th Dec
which is really 'damn' worth ! RM 8 per pint !! RM 80 a barrel !! OMG!!
Of course, 17th is their official launch and i get to drink all night long. hehehe...
For who missed it, no worry.. i heard a upcoming promotion will start on 18th Dec 09
But so sorry i haven't find out when the promotion end.
Normal price for Starker is RM 30 per pint and RM 300 a barrel.
Promotion will be "BUY ONE FREE ONE!"
